3rd AAPlab International Conference “Surface Tension: K-Arts in the Hallyu Era”

We are thrilled to announce the AAPlab’s 3rd edition of the international conference on “Surface Tension: Korean Arts in the Hallyu Era” taking place at Université de Montréal (UdeM) from February 22-24, 2024! This multifaceted conference consists of panel presentations, film and media arts screenings, Rencontre Authors: K-Arts and Hallyu, and inter-university students activities led by Hallyu K-Camp. Our venue partners are Unversité de Montreal, Dazibao (Contemporary Art Gallery) and Krossline Dance Studio in Montreal. A special event will be presented by an inter-university student-led culture and arts “Hallyu K-Camp” along with the conference. The Hallyu K-Camp invites all levels of the University students to participate in Students’ panel discussion, Imagined Hallyu Poster Competition, KPop Dance Workshop during the conference. Hallyu K-Camp, an inter-university student group on K-Wave/Hallyu research group, voluntarily was formed among students of the Universite de Montreal in 2024.
