KFFC 10 had an eventful weekend in Kingston at the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning!
On June 9, we screened PEPPERMINT, and numerous people who had previously seen the movie in 1999 came to watch it again! This movie embodies depression and inner conflict in such a way that even after all these years it still managed to glue the audience to their seats through the end of the credits.
On our second and final day in Kingston, June 10, we showcased two films. For UNIDENTIFIED, students from the Queen’s University loved the ingenious use of scenography, and for COMFORT, our closing film, most of our attendees were mothers and daughters witnessing this important documentary about a lesser-known part of our world’s history.
