“The Art of Irony” is a time travel to approach director Lee focusing on his nature and truth. Inspired by PEPPERMINT CANDY, the film travels back in time to his artistic origin, from the present, then on time as a writer, up to his childhood. It also tells the stories of the actors in his films and co-writer OH Jung-mi about their collaborations. In addition, the film shows the presence of each location and the beginning of the great artist.

« L’art de l’ironie » est un voyage dans le temps pour approcher le réalisateur Lee en se concentrant sur sa nature et sa vérité. Inspiré par PEPPERMINT CANDY, le film remonte le temps jusqu'à son origine artistique, du présent, puis du temps en tant qu'écrivain, jusqu'à son enfance. Il raconte également les histoires des acteurs de ses films et de son coscénariste OH Jung-mi à propos de leur collaboration.
