{"id":12006,"date":"2023-07-06T15:24:28","date_gmt":"2023-07-06T19:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/koreanfilmfestivalcanada.ca\/?p=12006"},"modified":"2023-07-13T13:09:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-13T17:09:42","slug":"whats-new-at-kffc-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/koreanfilmfestivalcanada.ca\/ko\/whats-new-at-kffc-10\/","title":{"rendered":"What&#8217;s new at KFFC 10?"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We&#8217;re excited to feature special Carte Blanche film programs, curated by and co-presented in partnership with Le Festival International du Film sur l&#8217;Art (FIFA), exploring our festival&#8217;s theme through the circus, dance, performance arts, and painting.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We have a spotlight on Philippine cinema, showcasing works that promote the cinematic and artistic brilliance of the Philippines, and highlighting the voices of indigenous groups in the country.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Five Masters: Where East Meets West&#8221; are retrospective programmes dedicated to the lives of five legendary artists: Jean-Paul Riopelle (1923-2002), Marcel Marceau (1923-2007), NAM June Paik (1932-2006), KIM Tschang-Yeul (1929-2021), and LEE Chang-Dong (1954~).<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">KFFC 10 will also introduce the first-ever on-site edition of Gallery East-West (GEW), in partnership with Dazibao.
